Refund and Return Policy
Effective date: August 8, 2026
qart.uk sells prepaid credits, not physical goods, so there is nothing to return. Most of what people expect from a refund policy happens automatically here: you are charged for images that were actually produced, and everything else goes back to your balance without you asking.
How charging works
Starting a run reserves credits up front. As each image finishes, the cost of that image is consumed from the reserve. When the run ends, whatever was not consumed is returned to your balance automatically.
One credit is roughly one image at the standard recipe. More sampling steps or a higher resolution costs proportionally more, and the price per image is shown before you start.
What is refunded to your balance automatically
- Stopping a run. Images already produced are charged; the rest of your reserve comes back. Images that finish after you press stop are delivered free.
- A run that never started generating. If we could not launch it, you are refunded in full.
- Anything that fails on our side. Infrastructure failures refund in full.
- A failed edit. Edits are a flat fee, refunded if the edit does not complete.
These happen without you contacting us. You can see every charge and refund in your credit history.
The one charge that surprises people
Once a run has started generating, stopping it early is charged a minimum of ten images.
This is not a penalty; it is the GPU time the run has already committed. Starting a generation run reserves a machine, and that cost is incurred whether or not you keep the output. If the run never reached the point of starting, this minimum does not apply and you are refunded in full.
The Studio requires your budget to cover at least ten images before it will start a run, so you are never charged a minimum you had not already reserved.
Refunds to your card
Credits are consumed as soon as generation happens, so spent credits cannot be refunded to your card.
Unspent credits can be. If you bought a pack and have not used it, email support@qart.uk within 14 days of the purchase and we will refund the unused portion to the original payment method. We may decline where an account is being used abusively.
Outside that window, or for credits you have already spent, contact us anyway — if something went wrong we would rather fix it than have you dispute the charge.
If a code stops working
If a code you claimed stops resolving because of a fault on our side, tell us and we will fix it. If we disable a code because it breached the Terms of Service, that is not refundable.
We verify that every image decodes to your exact payload before offering it to you. We cannot guarantee every scanner reads every print, so test a code before a print run — we cannot refund printing costs.
How to ask
Email support@qart.uk from the address you want us to reply to, and tell us your qart.uk nickname and roughly when you bought. We aim to answer within a few working days.
Approved card refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you. Where that law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, that right applies.
